Return of Reckoning

I didn't know where to post this, so i'll just drop here in general discussion

Yesterday night, I had an encounter with Morphia, a sorceress and Kambee, a tank guarding her, but the damages I did on them was, rididculous to say the least, when all the other peoples around get hit for 400-500+.



I thought that what I should read in these situation is 42(450 mitigated) instead of 42(30 mitigated), but maybe i'm wrong.

The peoples that were with me didn't understand either how tough she was, and never noticed any tank M4 effect that could more or less explain.

If someone has a rational explanation to offer, i'd be glad to hear it. Until then, i'll assume she cheat. IDK how you reduce 90% and screw the logs, but you better have a real explanation because next time I see you, i'm going to record.

You need to gather evidence of the contrary, because I highly suspect that M4 was used when looking at that combat log.

Attributing it to 'cheats' before you have even attempted to find out all other possible explanations is hilarious, and is one of the reasons why incessant, unsubstantiated whine is the norm on the /ad & /3 channels.

Tank M4 is quite easy to see, but I have no video recording to back it up.
All the "evidences" I have are testimonies from the peoples of my group that the peoples that were in her group was taking normal damages, but the tank and the sorceress.

I attribute it to cheat because I did attempt to find out all the other possible explanation, it did happen 10hours ago and I did try to check with everyone that was there, again, what's unfortunate is that all I have is testimonies.

But you see, to me, what really is hilarious is peoples like you ready to white knight for these peoples that are clearly cheating according to solid sources.

You see, I've been playing on RoR for 2 years, and almost never engaged on the forum, don't wonder why, peoples like you are exactly the reason.

Unfortunatly, I didn't have the reflexe to record because I never assumed her to cheat in the first place, I just got the surprise of being impacted by a moral-less group that was just out of their WC, and see me doing 40 damages on a sorc.

Think whatever you want, I'll keep on thinking she's cheating, and next time I see her name, i'll be ready to record.

This thread can be deleted, i'm not going to waste my time here anymore, I said what I had to say, Morphia seen this, great, she didn't, who cares. Better do normal damages to you next time I cross your path, because I'm just a hotkey away from recording now.

Look of the screen shot makes it look like you’re at destro WC in Avelorn, so my guess is WC buff reducing your damage.

Pretty pisspoor evidence when you're making such accusations (video footage and screenshots trump what biased friends of yours may say), but it doesn't seem to matter to you anyway, given that you've stated you'll continue to attribute it to cheats regardless.

Morphia's a good Sorc, never seen her cheat, and have played with her a handful of times over the course of RoR's existence. Personally, I think you're talking out of your ass, but I can't wait to see your video footage when you have your next encounter with the (not)cheating Sorc.

Then explain how without moral you can mitigate 90% of one's damage.

I'm really curious and want to be able to do the same.

I was roaming south of Avelorn's north keep, in the area between choppaz and maiden, I never went to their WC.

And i'm not going to pbaoe right in front of their WC, i'm suicidal but not stupid.

The impact happened at the south west corner of the keep, they were just out of their warcamp, but way too far for the buff to take effect, imo.

You don't; Morales and WC buff are the only reasons why your damage would be mitigated so much (M4 is 75% btw, and not 90%).
You also need to factor in the fact that the Sorc was guarded (which I am 100% sure you did!), which would reduce incoming damage even more than if you were to attack, say, an unguarded Choppa.

I'm dumbfounded.

It wasn't WCs buff, it wasn't M4. I hit much harder on guarded peoples than 40 damages. My logs shows a ~90% damage reduction compared to what I usually do to tanks Please, enlighten me, how a sorc can mitigate more than a tank ? Guard isn't the answer, I would be doing 150-250 non crit, not 40.

Yes, because all tanks are the same, and have the same levels of toughness, and the same resistances, right? Perhaps you're too accustomed to targetting undergeared, low RR & poorly-geared DPS tanks? Kambee is a very high RR, well-geared & exceptionally played Chosen.

Certainly not from you.

We already know we faced an impossible situation.
We already know there's something not clear.

If it happened after a long fight, they had time to moral buildup, I would have understood, and would have never bothered to post on this forum.

I have faced plenty of situation where I wondered what happened, but only twice in the 2 years I played RoR, I ultimatly thought about a cheat. This is the second time.

And I know the difference between 75 and 90%, if I say 90%, it's because she mitigated 90% of my damages, if not more, as I keep telling, my "normal" damages on tanks is more around 400-500.

So unless you have no other explanation than "it's M4" or "it's WC buff", we will leave it at that.

So we understand each other very well : I'm not trying to get her banned, I know I wont from a post like this anyway.

I'm trying to raise an important issue, and possibly understand what's going on. If you have no other arguments than "it's M4, it's WC buff" or ad hominem attacks, then you've been of no help whatsoever beside being a pointless white knight
