Return of Reckoning

Hi all, Just wanted to introduce myself while I download the client Im 26 and from the Republic of Ireland. Big gamer but also a family man but will always find a few hours most nights to fit in some game time

I only just heard about this server today on PC gamer article and I am thrilled as I wish I had tried retail when it existed but at the time I was obsessed with WoW.
I'm a huge WH (and WH 40k) lore fan and own pretty much all decent WH games that exist, I have models etc but I have never gotten to play the table top due to it not being a thing where I live The most recent MMORPG I've played actively was Project Gorgon and I love going into a new MMO blind and learning all there is to learn.
No idea what class or faction I will roll with yet. If anyone else new is joining today or any friendly people want to add me I will post my in-game name once I have a character created.

For new players i would recommend a tank or rdps they are the easiest to master. Tank Swordmaster the least complicated mechanic has heal debuff and group heal and armour buff. So its pretty tough. 2h dps is the best of any tank in the game. Rdps i would suggest an engineer has a lot of tools in its box grenade hot dot keg of health shock armour upgrade and turrets. It a little artillery battery does massive damage. What you really need is a good guild i would recommend China Tower has all levels and a lot of very experienced players who can help you with youre build. Once you become proficient with youre class you can migrate to the more serious guilds like Bene Tielex, CTNK and Seventh Legion which used comms and sound tactics.

Its Order but if you thinking of destro i can recomment Unstable Equation as a good leveling very similar to china tower with a wide range of levels. Destro characters worth a look is Black Orc good all round tank similar in a lot of way to sm with buff and heals great 2h spec for dps. They have an awesome healer in the zealot has ranged dps but it excels as a highly mobile healing class. If damage is youre thing mara as mdps has good aoe skills and sorc highest damage in the game as ranged caster.

my suggestion is to stick with a tank to begin with as it's a stable class choice and will allow you to survive long enough to get a feel for combat and the game environment. I'd suggest a lots, which is the knight class of empire or an ironbreaker. But if you feel like you could master a class quickly go for a sword master. They can put out the highest dps of any tank class

Hi all I started playing last night, In-game name is Killanena, Im an Engineer and joined the guild China tower. Members are so nice and I cant believe I'm already pvping and actually doing well for myself I choose Engineer because I do love dwarf lore and didn't want to play a melee class as thats what I played in my most recent MMO for 2 years.

I've been playing mmorpg's sense I was 6 with my dad so just over 20 years now so I shouldn't really have much trouble falling into my class that I've chosen but thank you both for the tips

If you have experience with mmo's please keep in mind engineer might be a decent warband/solo class but is seriusly lacking a role in Group based pvp.
