Crashing in less than a minute

Hey guys, I've recently downloaded the game and after playing for about 5 minutes, I crash out to the desktop without warning. Since the first crash, I can only play for about 5-20 seconds before I crash and get put back to the desktop. I can stay in the character selection screen but getting into the world just crashes the game. I've made sure I'm running it in 64 bit and I've downloaded the audio file folk keep posting here and replaced the original one, but the crashes are persisting. I don't have any addons either, so I'm feeling quite stuck and can't find any different answers.
