Cannot Log in to game since 1 week already

Hello, i've been trying to no avail to get to character screen now since 1 week. Here's whats up :
1) i played RoR a few months, went on holidays last week, nothing from my end had changed, came back and couldnt get to character screen. It WAS working!
2) i have all the latest RoR launcher etc that i used to play the game with before i went on vacation
3) i run RoR launcher as admin, from same folder as all my other files etc, everything fine, enter password username click connect. i get into game
4) enters the game but before server select / char select it does the connecting to the server.... handshaking.... and then logging in....and gets no further than the logging in....part.
5) So what could have happened in that week that i was gone that turned a working RoR into a non-working RoR without me doing anything?
Please help , i need to beat up some stunties.

dont see charaster/server select.

Have you tried downloading the game again? If you can log onto the server, but the game fails to load the zone, it's usually something to do with the client side.

i downloaded the game again. i am stuc with the same thing. handshaking...stuck. i dont get to character select even. is not just fail to load zone, i dont get to see my char select....

1 close all advirus you have
2 run exe
3 run as administrator

Try pinging this: 87.98.172.235
Go to Start menu > type in cmd > right click cmd and run as administrator > type ping 87.98.172.235 > Enter.
If you don't get responses, then something is blocking access to server.

half the time when i open launcher it shows game server green and login server yellow, after a little while it changes login to red.
i did the ping and it said "request timed out"

Seems like you can't establish a connection between you and the server.
Try doing tracert 87.98.172.235, and see at which hop it fails/timeout on.
Alternatively, you can try a VPN to bypass it and hopefully connect to the server, such as an application like Hotspot Shield.
Be advised, doing so will alter your IP address, and networking route. So I'm not responsible for any alterations it makes :3

tracert showed the first 2 timed out, so after screaming at my provider for an hour they finally discovered that someone had messed with the cables near my building.
still showing a consistent timeout on step 8 tho but the launcher finds the login server atleast for now.

It's some progress at least.
Hmm, either just wait to see if they resolve the broken hop, or you could try a VPN to redirect pass that router to connect to the server.
