The Maw defense 12-18-19

Saw multiple people posting no medallions and no renown tick from the defense of this zone, is this new or a bug?
Considering the lag during that defence, it is a miracle the server didn’t simply explode.
I got absolute zip from the Maw attack but I wasn’t shocked. Hard to get contribution when your heals hit 15 seconds after a player is dead. C’est la vie.
