Instructions for Nvidia owners, I'm sure there are similar settings for ATI card owners.

1. Right click anywhere on your desktop and open "Nvidia Control Panel"
Image

2. Once the window opens up, click "Manage 3D settings" in the top left, then on the right side of the window select the "Program Settings" tab
Image

3. Once in the "Program Settings" tab, click "Add"
Image

4. A new window will pop up where we can select the "WAR" client (Not the Launcher), once selected click the "Add Selected Program" button. *If you don't see the war client in the list, you can click browse and select it from the installation directory*
Image

5. Specify the following settings for the Warhammer client through the drop downs:
Anisotropic Filtering - 16x
Anti-Aliasing FXAA - ON
Anti-Aliasing Mode - Override any application setting

Click Apply, reload your WAR client and enjoy!

FXAA makes it less sharp, so i would suggest using MSAA. This game isnt GPU heavy anyway so with midrange GPU or up it should handle MSAA 8x just fine

id also recommend turning off FXAA and using the control panel standard 16x instead. makes the ingame font much more readable.

Has it worked for anyone to force antialising on the nvidia control panel?, I've tried activating it at 8x but they keep coming up with saw teeth

Weapons and Hair seems to not take the MSAA, rest seems to be fine. Thats what i get under Linux at least. So maybe its same on windows

Well I'm an idiot. I just realized I hadn't been running the 64 bit client. Adding the 64 bit client into the nvidia profile enabled a lot more options - Although MSAA Didnt really make much of a different. I just kept my current settings with the addition of turning MSAA on and image sharpening to clear up the text.

I tried Reshade - pretty neat stuff. Haven't messed with too many options yet.

I can recommend to use the reshade version thats linked in sildurs enhanced graphics topic. His version works without painting all the characters white. In reshade a bit of msaa, vibrance and bloom really bring out the best of this old engine.
