Chat macro target (question)

I have Think Out Loud, and really appreciate it for spells and such that it supports.
I have edited my ToL macros to say what I want them to say with no issues, but when I tried to make a simple chat macro, it doesn't work out the same.
What I would like is a simple macro something like:
/say Targeting %F. Please focus my target.
I searched a few threads, but every one I looked at quickly devolved into something along the lines of people freaking out about botting or how macros were bannable...
Is a macro like this a possibility, or do we lack the functionality for something like this?
Edit: I see where Enemy is supposed to have a target caller? I haven't figured that one out though. I also see there is SwiftAssist, but would be ok with a simple chat command line if possible.
