Return of Reckoning

While sitting in Altdorf on my main, I was just going through the usual cultivating grind when I saw I won a purple bag from a zone lock where I had been hunting earlier.

It was at this point I noticed something, my chat messages were no longer going through, and then everyone stopped moving. I wasn't booted from the game but nothing happened so I closed out of WAR [the usual exit game did not work so I simply ended the program], I then restarted the launcher and got a weird error but it closed out, so I restarted the launcher again and all seemed fine, no error messages or anything.

I hit connect, the game goes to the character screen but when I press the play button nothing happens, it gives the visual confirmation and sound that I hit connect but it does nothing.

Then after about a minute, it will go to the login screen "locating battles... search for allies..." and then just stops there forever.

Any advice?

I have the same issue. Must be the server

same happend to me just now. came out of a SC, and suddenly all players vanished from the screen. also NPCs. i could still see chat. i exit the game, it opens get my chart screen, but i can spam play buttom and nothing happens. tryed to change toon, could click 1 time on my WP and same happens then all locked, could not press anything els. or swift realm.. no buttoms could be used even thoe they made the sound.. Quit buttom worked thoe

Ah yeah then it must be a server hitch, dag nabbit, who didn't feed the wood elves so they would keep working?

any solution for this problem ?? me and friend have the same problem

I am stuck on char screen, pressing PLAY does nothing

Just wait for devs to fix the server

Yeah i'm having the same issue. When I press play it goes to the loading Altdorf screen, but after a while it goes back to the character select screen. Quitting client and restarting doesn't help.
