Return of Reckoning

My settings are on "oh shiny" with video memory slider maxed.

I'm currently playing a chosen and after the animation for the aura skills, there are no graphical effects for the buffs.



If I load into a different zone while the buffs are active, they will show up. But, its just a bug because once i deactivate the auras they visual graphic still remains.

Playing in a RvR area for a while this morning and it seems these arent the only spell effects that dont show up as well so its hard to tell whats going on. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I have the same problem, and this happens with more effects, like Sorcerer Frozen Touch enchantment, I have also noticed that anisotropic filtering stopped working, even forcing from nvidia Inspector.

I Have the exact same problem with frozen touch on my sorceress... is this a bug? or sthing else?

When you have no FX, no matter what ingame settings you run, make a backup copy of your cache folder, if something goes wrong and then delete the content of your cache folder.
Then restart game and you should have all effects back.

I had the issues since the patch with the new sc and this fixed it.

Well tried that (done it about 10 times) doesn't seem to work for me... I guess I'll have to w8 for devs to fix it...

Same issue here, none of my Marks (as a zealot) or shield effects on self are showing the animation - only when cast on friendly targets...weird. I tried deleting cache but it hasn't really worked.

I restarted my pc. Ran the launcher. Did this 2 times now it work again.

i've tried deleting my cache several times, but it hasnt helped.

edit: so, i have deleted my cache and started with the 32bit version. i have used my shield spell and nothing happened, until about 1 sec before my shield run out, the animation popped up. the problem is, it wont go away now. even after i reapply my shield. it just stays there now. same with the 64bit version now.

tried multiple "fixes" having the SAME issues my favorite is when the shaman shield appears on me AFTER the duration has ended and never leaves me.
