Return of Reckoning

Just started playing yesterday and everything was fine until today. I even deleted the torrent and whole game and redownloaded it all again, BUT I keep getting this error when i try to log into the game from the launcher. I'd greatly appreciate any help resolving this error so I can get back to playing, THANKS!

cannot find the file specified

at System.Diagnostics.Process.Start()

at RoRLauncher.Client.Handle(PacketIn packet)

"cannot find the file specified"

Can you open your RoR directory, and right click - Properties and untick 'Read-Only'?

Also - make sure the Launcher is in the folder where all the files are.

Sorry to bother, but I have the same problem.

I had the data/strings/english/abilitynames.txt error I tried the solution proposed in another post downloading the myp file.
It didn't work so I tried removing and reinstalling the game.
After installation I got this new error (cannot find the file specified).
I did check but files in RoR folder are not read only.
Nonetheless, I get the error.
Do you have any tip?

No, I can't anymore. I just tried to remove the game again, restart and redownload it, but from the new torrent. Now it works. I guess the old version I had gave some issue (I was using the launcher)

I believe they hotfixed this issue, but if you're still experiencing this, see here:
