Unavailable name in character creation

I deleted a specific character, I had no larger gameplay on it, then a couple of secs later I cannot create a new character with the same name. Which I can do with all other characters? I feel it has something to do with new server, because before I haven't experinced such problem.

I've also noted that I cannot create characters with the letters such as â, ä or õ anymore. Is that an individual problem or does that occur to everyone and if so why has it been removed?

Names are restricted to alphanumeric characters, as some of our commands act upon a player's full name. This was primarily done because of Cyrillic names.

But â, ä and õ was not Cyrillic and they are alphanumeric right? They're French, Finnish and Estonian has such letters and none of them speak Cyrillic. Is there a way to include atleast those letters?

Because otherwise you will be removing the roleplaying atmosphere of this game and loss of high elven, dwarves, humans and dark elves names which were once influenced on such names. Please reconsider that! Who wouldn't love to see an Archmage named 'Esmarâ' coming to your aid beacuse she or he took their time to create a character name fit for roleplaying? It also opens the world more for gameplay.

If there's a simple alphanumeric filter on, then only a-z and 0-9 would be permitted in names. This is more of a limitation in the GM commands, which require a full name to act. I don't have a problem with accents being allowed myself.

There's no way to change this then? You should be able to add atleast a couple of foreign letters such as Â, Ä or Õ to be in use.

Because this plays an important role in my gameplay. If this isn't reconsidered, I'll leave ROR.
