Hi im new to the game ( start to play 1 month ago ) so if i write something wrong let me know it. im fresh rr 70 and was thinking if it will be better to buy with royal crest the warlord set or to wait and buy later the sovereign set. My doubt is that i will probably reach rr78 ( necessary rr to equip all sovereign pieces ) with really low amount of royal crest if i buy all the warlord set during leveling up so Is it better to wait for sovereign or is it better ( or maybe necessary by ToK ) to take before the warlord?

Isnt wl a healing set?If u want dps u probably aim for 5 sov + 3 oppressor mix or 6 sov + 2 oppressor.
And when i say sov i mean dps sov not main spec sov

When you exclude the new ranked sc sets, because you can't really farm them currently, you have 3 options.

V1:
The overall best value setup with lowest sov crest requirements is 5 alt sov + 3 opp.

V2:
For min-maxing an optimization would be 5 warlord + 3 alt sov, which costs a ton more crests and effectively gives you 32 more wounds. You can't progress naturally from V1 to V2, because 2-3 alt sov items of V1 are not included in this setup.

V3:
5 alt sov + 3 warlord gives you 6% more magic crit compared to both other setups but you lose about 100 magic power. Wounds are similar to V2. This costs the most sov crests.

Personally, 40% magic crit with liniment are fine to me, so I prefer variants with magic power. Intel value is basically the same on all 3 variants.

The only reason to go full sov is the +2 mastery that allows you to run a spec that takes DPS AM from like F tier to C tier DPS slot in city warbands. Juggling mechanic and using heals+EoV. If anything it will allow you to scoreboard warrior respectably.

I went full sov on my DPS AM and honestly regret going past 5 there was no point. +2 is worthless outside of city and no one actually wants DPS AM in city. The 7pc proc is a joke (we love procs on dot based classes!) and 8pc is whatever.

If only they would put MotM back to 5 in Isha that +2 sov would be very useful.
