Hey,
Please add the ability to respec your mastery in ranked, because your role is determined by your gear + renown, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Why?

I play dps shaman for example, dps gear + renown, in orvr I run with mork, if I queue as ranked with mork tree I am still a dps but dont have that nuking power I need from gork.
Just for convenience, otherwise If I want to play ranked I have to afk in the city waiting for the queue, which are long at the moment.

Your role is very strongly impacted by your mastery. Queue prepared accordingly.

Hey so I gave you this example, last night I was running with dps renown+dps gear/ but my spec was mork/dagreen for roaming, it put me up as DPS, and I couldn't put the necessary nuking power which I get from gork..

Or another example if a choppa running aoe build on rvr and queuing up as dps and wants to use 2handed different mastries etc (I dont know choppa class), why force the waiting in the city.. since queuing takes pretty long right now.

Be able to change the mastery in a sc that rly need to be balanced give to much room for abuse.

Yes it is not perfect. But i prefer that some people have to wait instead of people who change masterypoints as they wish to get maybe a faster pop and switch in sc back.

I meant you can change masteries and masteries only inside the game itself not during the queue. I dont see how it will change anything if like I said according to my example even with mork/dagreen it still gives me DPS role.

It will mess range vs melee disparity which is essential. If game is intended to be 2rdps vs 2rdps for dps slots. If sw respec to msw and add bw vs sorc and magus, destro side is at huge disadvantage and most likely will lose.
Matchmaking rdps and mdps to be equal is best addition from matchmaking algorithm and devs must keep that on all cost

What stops you from playing rvr in dps spec and joining ranked with dps spec as well? In the end you are a rdps.
