This is a thread about sorcerer's dark magic mechanic. Again.
I was just watching one of Spexx's sorc videos, and noticed I was a guest star.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDxkIcP ... e=youtu.be
Check me out on the screen at 3:40, as I two-shot myself from backlash.
Ouchies.

It is alread known and documented that the backlash mechanic in its current state is wrong. Correct values are just not implemented yet.

How could you read anything in that video? With that quality, there could be a naked granny dancing and nobody would notice.

Remind me what the correct values are, lest I invoke the wrath of God upon myself.

I can't seem to find the formula. I'll check old WAR vids.
Sorcs and bws usually have around 1500, 1600 hp at best. 400 backlash/explosion dmg at 100 dark magic/combustion is quite high.
It was 850 for an r40rr90+ character with 7+k HP. Much lower than the current 25%+ HP loss.
