All out Assault! Aura question

Does it benefit from the Kotbs using its armor pen value?

IIR it deals a type of damage that only gets mitigated by toughness. Cannot crit or scale with power though.
Not sure if it has an official name I usually just call it unspecified damage or pure damage. SM's potent enchantments is another example.

It scales with how many points you put in the left tree, that’s it.

This can't be correct. It should be mitigated only by armor vallue and therefor be affected armor pen as well. Toughness is a dps bonus reduction stat, wich this skill have none. Unspecified dmg of skills and tactics refer to physical damage. As for potent enchantment, I belive it was changed to deal spirit damage.
