Return of Reckoning

I just came back to the game and i ran into this issue and i have no idea how to fix it.

My character is invisible so is the rest of the characters ingame.

f you're having weird client issues, the best advice we can give you is to make sure your Antivirus is whitelisting the entire WAR folder when you attempt to patch. If you don't know how to whitelist something, please look it up. Otherwise you will need to disable your AV to update the game.

This INCLUDES Windows Defender (even if you think you have it disabled, you probably don't), as that also has a whitelist/exclusion section that needs to have the WAR folder added. There is a guide on how to do this here

Learn how to exclude a folder from getting scanned by Windows Defender. Add an exception to exculde a file, folder, process or file type from being scanned.

Short solution:
Run your installer and client as an administrator. You may need to also repair as admin. Some users have also gotten this to disappear by corrected the read/write permissions on the harddrive, but this isnt working for everyone.
