no renown points for kills in scenarios

Is it a bug that i sometimes get no renown gain at all for kills in scenarios ? it mostly happens if i play for some time, relogging works sometimes to get rp in the next sc. Or am i missing something here that prevents renown gain from kills in scenarios ? the bonus gain at end of scenario works.
