Return of Reckoning

Current Situation:

All of our current Medallion and Emblem Sales are final. Further all Items are bound to the character to prevent large rare Items sales at the auction house to keep the challenge up to each charater, without being able to buy all the stuff at the auction house.


The better the gear gets, the more effort and time it will cost. The problem? If you buy the wrong gear, you wont get your coins (=medals & emblems) back and have items you nighter need or actually dont use -

The problem? As you move on in the game, you can nighter salvage the gear, nor sell it - which means you have to destry them physically - without any benefits. This means a waste of coins .

In the real word we buy - try and return for a full refund if were not satisfied with it. This could be applied to ror. Heres why:

My Proposal is to offer a sell-back option at all Medall and Emblen dealers, where you can sell your Items back to the vendor and get the medals and enblems you have spend on for your first purchase.

Benefits: If you buy the wrong gear and realize it doesnt fit your style, you could get your coins back and trade them in, for the gear you acually wanted.

As a result, the hard-earned rewards in the RVR and Scenario can be better used than just thrown away.

Whats the Sanction of backtrading? You should use the talismans, which have melted into the item.

Some will get their gear, level up, sell the gear, trade the medallions/emblems to stronger ones and then buy the stronger gear somewhat with a discount.

This could be prevented by making it so that gear cannot be sold back if it has a talisman in it.

I would like this but maybe get 50% off the currency back i think full is too much. Live War you got your medallions based on your career rank at one point, then all currency was changed to war crests ? I remember killing afk chosen when i was getting close to rr 90 and the chosen dropped war chest that had 2500 war crests and that was alot! I got all doomflayer i needed + rr 90 weapon. Think i had 1 another war chest drop so they didnt drop alot.

Anyway : D point is i understand why in ror it's need to get gear first and do pve first to get to the gear you want or "need" and still im not a huge fan. Maybe in scenario's 1-2 set pieces of every every set should drop and same for rvr gear 1-2 set piece drops up to war/sove. Boe better than bop but bop is better than neither. I assume most would want this but i can only speak for myself. People like rng, good useful drops by playing what you want to play which is always rvr or scenarios, solo or wb. New Gear set that would drop in rvr and sc's, good unique one not op but comparable to invader at least + new wpns with new unique procs are very needed also=) I can dream! Fudge the rest ror team is best=) Always full support

Another trip down the slippery slope to find the endgame faster and faster and ever faster than ever before. How much faster does it need to be? How many times do you think accelerating gear acquisition will outweigh the damage it's doing to leveling progression and the time investment it takes to earn this gear at all? There faster you accelerate and create bypasses for doing the content, the less meaningful the content is until you're left with a narrow path hardly worth pursuing.
