Return of Reckoning

A friend downloaded the game and it loads correctly but when he is on the first char create screen the game doesn't recognise his clicks. Characters light up when he hovers over them but he can't click anything. when he alt tabs sometimes it allows him to click. He was using dual monitor but we tried with one monitor switched off and still the same.

let him try windowed mode
in the RoR folder theres he can try modifying those lines change fullsccreen to false and change the resoltion he wants

first of all, check if you installed the right way....here the guide:

How to Install:
- Stop your Torrent from seeding (close it, maybe check your task manager)
- Move the RoR Folder to c:\ (or atleast it's NOT in c:\program or a folder which it wont have write access. For instance move it to c:\Games\Return of Reckoning)
- delete the RoRLauncher.exe
- download a new one here: http://launcher.returnofreckoning.com/RoRLauncher.exe
- put the new RoRLauncher.exe back into the RoR-folder
- Remove the write-protection from all the files in the WAR folder. (right click the game folder -> properties -> disable the read-only box)
- Check if your whole RoR Folder is whitelisted in your Antivirus program and check if your Firewall or Maleware doesn't interfere with the install.
- You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges. (Right click the RoR updater > properties > run administrator)
- Run the RoRLauncher.exe
- Let it update (sometimes it needs a few seconds until it starts)
- Exit launcher and rerun it again
- Repeat the last 2-steps until there is no update
- Launch the game
- [If you don't have DirectX 9.0c, installed it is required, and now this is also included in the torrent. In the ReturnOfReckoning-March2020 folder find the dx90c folder, open that and run DXSETUP.exe]


Otherwise, you can try this:
go to:
Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/AppData/Local/Return_of_Reckoning
and delete everything from there
maybe some old config, which can't be parsed it seems.

We tried deleting local files and we did all the installation steps and still nothing...I think it's the dual monitor thing cause all of us play fine except him.. Anyway thnx for the help.

i have dualmonitor also with no issues.
I have no idea how to help further though if all that has been said has been already tried.

maybe try checking if he maybe has some thirdparty overlay or FPS counter stuff running, which might steal the focus for some reason and the reason he cant click stuff...worth a check
