Invisible character models

I just downloaded and installed the game, after logging in I'm taken to the character creation screen, but instead of seeing character models of all the different races all I see are floating weapon models. I am able to choose a race and get into the character customization screen but there are still no character models, just floating weapons.

Hey,
maybe you already solved it....but close game and launcher, open the launcher again. You are still missing some patches. so let it patch.
