All you Sorcs out there: Newbie sorc here. Just got "Frostbite" (level 20).

Do you bother using Frostbite regularly in your rotations? Or is it just too situational or too minor to be used a lot?

Too long CD (30 secs) to be used in a common rotation, also is more a defensive tool to be used if you are being focused.

Not in a rotation, no. Use it on a melee that's on you or putting too much pressure on someone else.
It's the spell that often allows me to 1vs1 kill WHs that jump me if they aren't smart enough to pop their "100% resist" thing after their knockdown runs out.

It's a semi useful skill, but the duration to cooldown ratio is pure rubbish. Really, it would be much better with 4s / 20s ; 3s / 30s is just a joke.

But that's nothing new tbh. Sorc is like a sexy, but less effective version of BW.

You save it for WHs

Better use with cast time modificators - Close Quarters tactic (for melee) or Focused Mind moral (melee and range).

Sure, but it should really last a bit longer(4s), it's not AoE, it's not instant cast and it has, honestly, horrible cooldown(not to mention that you don't actually do anything to prevent the enemy keeping up with you). Knockdowns often don't have 30s ffs!

It's not that useful even in solo PvE, it's simply disappointing.

Frostbite should be instant cast.
