Can't stay connected for more than 5 min

This isn't standard for me. I can usually connect and play as long as I see fit. Tonight has been different, I log in, and play for 5 min, and then everyone starts strafing everywhere, audio goes away, but my character can move. Eventually the server DC's me and takes me back to handshaking, logging in, and character screen.
