Drunk vs Sober gaming

I was wondering as the community is getting older if there has been a change in how inebriated people are when they play.

In the live days of war I was at college then uni so most of the time I played I was drunk with drunken guildies.

Now as I cant get away with that anymore (unfortunately) I'm mostly sober and I seem to have alot more success and feel like alot less people are drunk. I think I can spot hammered players almost always dwarves and there seems to be less of them.

Has anyone else noticed this. Do you play sober or drunk?

I have always played better under the influence of 6-12 beers, this is based on others' comments as well as my own looking at objective data after the fact. Probably a by-product of having OCD. Somehow, alcohol makes me process combat related information more effectively.

Nowadays I take my alcohol in solid form and it's a lot more effective and cheaper than 12 packs. Less calories too.
