Hey everyone, new player here got some questions

Hey, somehow I completely missed this game in the past and being on the hunt for a new MMO I want to give this game a try, very surprised and amazed how well-run this game is for a private based server. Updates, balance changes, new content, completely free and fair... amazing, can't believe I just discovered it.

Currently downloading and doing game research so here are some questions if anyone cares to help out:

I dig that this game's emphasis is on group PvP play but I still love me some solo MMO PvP/PvE action and mob farm/grind sessions when I am in mood to chill. Is there decent content for solo PvP/PvE and are there grind spots (to gather gold, professions stuff, whatever else)? Is solo PvP open world ganking a thing in this game?

How's economy and professions in this game? Is there Auction House / active trading? Is gathering profs something worthy to spend time on? How good are professions in general?

How are guilds in this game? Is it just a way to keep ppl together as a community and ea or there are bonuses/big core gameplay differences when in guild? Are small(ish) guilds or mega-guilds more popular and do organized guilds do stuff together on daily basis? This question may sound super stupid but most if not all of my guild experience in other MMOs was tied to PvE (raids) so wondering how PvP guilds work.

Are there any PvE raids or it's just small group scenarios and public quests thingie for PvE content? Are there world bosses? If "yes" on raid/world bosses questions how popular are they? Is it hard to find a group for that kind of content?

Is class respeccing/changing talents/playing off-spec easy in this game or choices you make in this regard are permanent and unchangeable?

So, as I said I completely missed this MMO and I am pretty new to Warhammer universe so researching classes/specs is a bit overwhelming and soon I'll have to make very important decision in picking a class. I've always been Healer main who loves idea of HoT style of healing (example: WoW Druid) and also enjoys DoT based DPS classes/off-specs on the side (example: WoW's Warlock / Shadow Priest) and plan on playing as a Healer main in this game too. Can you recommend me a healer class that can also, at least half-decently, do solo stuff (PvE/PvP)? For instance I enjoyed Druid and Priest the most in WoW but only 'standard' healer class I see in Warhammer is Shaman so a bit lost. Healer with DoT based offspec (or part of main spec kit) would be perfect, otherwise I'd play any Healer that is good and in a demand.
192.168.8.1 192.168.100.1 192.168.0.1

That's kind of it for now. Thanks everyone who helps out. Much love and take care!

EDIT:

Blown away by how detailed and nice replays I got on my questions. Love ya all and thanks a lot, appreciated.

I'll add one more question here:

Can you guys recommend some good and informative content creators for this game? Preferably Youtube but Twitch is cool too. I am looking for beginner tips, class/game/mechanics/pvp content guides, healing pov (zealot) gameplay, etc. - basically any content that will help me learn the game faster!

it is, potions are very important and somebody has to farm the mats and make them, same with talismans. end game crafting has improved dramatically over the years. it takes a mix of pvp and pve to craft the very best stuff, though with just pve you can make stuff that the majority would consider serviceable in pvp. solo pvp ganking is definitely a thing, some classes in particular excel at this and a lot of people make their bones by soloing or running in small groups to pick off respawners/stragglers or assault the flanks of entire warbands by baiting them into chasing.

there are no "big" gameplay differences when in a guild but there are certain bonuses. there are a lot of active guilds, a mix of general collective who just warband and run dungeons together, more small scale elite guilds and several racial roleplay guilds too. guilds are also used to collaborate on providing everyone with necessary crafted items as a single character cannot provide themselves with everything.

there are several, instances and bosses. world bosses tend to drop unique gear that enables certain builds and instances give a mix of things, including gear and the highest level crafting materials. end game instances are very popular as everybody wants this stuff to make them more powerful in pvp, there's always someone trying to put a group together in chat

respeccing is now free and can be done whenever, you can now save specs and change at training masters who can be found all over the place. you will still need to purchase and carry multiple sets of gear if your specs greatly differ but nothing in this game is permanent development wise.

if you're looking for a dps/healer hybrid it's shaman/archmage for ranged and disciple of khaine/warrior priest for melee. archmage is the king of dots, shaman is very mobile and harder to pin down. disciple of khaine and warrior priest are very in demand due to their excellent group healing and tankiness, both can also solo pve with disciple having the edge in dps. zealot and runepriest suck at solo pve but are very solid in demand pure healers.
