Hello there, I downloaded the game and the client, placed the client in my game folder but when I run it I get the following error:
"Error starting: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\Alf\Downloads\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\WAR.exe' is denied.

Tried with Win 7 compatability mode, running as admin and both.
Downloading again now.
Downloaded as torrent.

Do you guys read the sticky?
Uncheck your Warhammer folder from read-only.

Try moving it out of your download folder, then doublecheck the folder again. I have noticed that this helps some times for some users.

Doesn't work. Gonna re-try everything again, including other download links

I tried every download link, Launcher is in the same folder, it's unchecked for read only, tried using performance counters or doing it manually - with succes, but it still doesn't work. I'm running everything as administrator.
I also reinstalled net frameworks and installed in order from 1 to the newest.
I was able to launch the game a couple times randomly, no idea why, but when it happend i had only black window and no connection to servers. It's probably something on my windows then. Gonna download it on another PC tommorow.

If it doesn't establish a connection to the server when you load the game, it's most likely a incomplete/corrupt game file somewhere.
Re-extracting/downloading the game resolves this.
