Group/objective play rewarding issue

Hello,
i wont complain but i noticed that playing for the faction/wb/objectives is worthless.
Average solo kill at 40% aao gives me more renown points at we than full zone in wb as chosen tank whats is pretty sad. There is no point to play as tank (maybe if it is third alt

).
It shouldn't work like that.
I wont tell that solo players should be destroyed now...
The group/objective play should be much more rewarding imo.
What do U think?

You get renown and contribution rewards for the whole group/warband effort plus you live longer with a crowd behind your back. Smaller but more frequent numbers.
Solo players get rewarded for their actions with contri/renown and you die more often. Bigger renown spikes but less frequent.
Problems start when grouped up players get "tunnel vision" and see only their party frames while allies die all around them or when solo players see only their hp bars and ignore everyone else.
You can run solo and contribute to group effort. You can run in group and neglect faction struggle. But the game will reward you for everything you do to help your side regardless of being in group or not. And that's actually awesome part of Warhammer (Da Waaaagh must go on!)

They proclaim it be a group game, yet punish those in a group.

If you are talking about renown gain your group not your warband your group needs to deal the damage which means you need a good dps and a good tank/healer enabling that dps to deal alot of damage. At the end of the day its all skill and gear, if all 3 parts (dps/heal/tank) work correctly you will get alot of rewards. Joining an open warband does not mean you are grouping up, join organised warbands with good players or join a guild.

Playing with organized party or with guild requires a lot of factors:
Online people,
Correct classes,
Enough time to farm,
While in grp people mostly do obejctives like bos and boxes what is poorly rewarding,
Good rvr situation not pve one.
While solo i can skip all mentioned factors, find few good kills. As a result in 40 minutes i earned much more than tank supporting my faction for a long time
I was fighting as tank zone from the beginning to the end. Then i relogged to we fast and i killed few afks in the keep. Much more renown as we. Not fair for sure

Agreed. Currently ganking solo or in small group, in addition to the aao bonus, is far more rewarded (wich also explain why many want to play that way).
There should be (see orvr renown gain feedback thread by Wonshot) a group/wb bonus, and not a dumb splitting of rp between party members.
Its far more rewarding to leech a wb solo (previously dropping oil while solo too) than playing (and sharing) the renown with groupmates, wich is a shame in a group-based game.
Better take the opportunity to revamp a bit the renown gain system, taking advantage of the "Filed of Glory" bonus to incentivize playing near objectives for everyone, while retributing people that care about forming proper groups/wb accordingly (yes, even the pug and unbalanced ones).
