Return of Reckoning

Hi,

I'm getting the above error when running the launcher, it downloads the manifest, does a bunch of files checks, then spits out could not download file from server. (pb/pbcl.dll)

I downloaded the game using the torrent.
Installed to a different folder.
install dx9
removed read only permissions from the folder
set the launcher to run as admin.
Replaced the rorlauncher file as per the instructions.

Got the can't download war64.exe error
found the thread and download the new war.exe's and replaced them.

Ran the launcher again and got the new error.
I have tried both 32 and 64 bit configurations.

I have also added to AV exceptions

Should be fixed now. You shouldn't need to download those files anymore.

Thanks, that problem has been fixed, it moved on and downloaded 1074 files. Loaded into the create character screen and wouldn't show any models, I quit as per the instructions but it is now when I connect, it is loading the cinematic, I can hear the audio but not see any video, I can skip the audio but never get a usable screen. I'll search the forums to see if you have already tackled this.

It get stucked at :
Downloading (1/2914)...pb/pbcl.dll

My own iptables is like :
Chain INPUT (policy DROP 0 packets, 0 bytes)
pkts bytes target prot opt in out source destination
ACCEPT tcp -- * * 0.0.0.0/0 0.0.0.0/0
ACCEPT udp -- * * 0.0.0.0/0 0.0.0.0/0

Chain FORWARD (policy DROP 0 packets, 0 bytes)
pkts bytes target prot opt in out source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy DROP 52 packets, 4907 bytes)
pkts bytes target prot opt in out source destination
ACCEPT udp -- * * 0.0.0.0/0 0.0.0.0/0
ACCEPT tcp -- * * 0.0.0.0/0 0.0.0.0/0

So I guess this is not a firewall issue.
Do you have any idea ?

EDIT : solved by running the cmd emulation from wine > ran RORlauncher.exe
After that, it started to download everything

Can someone re-upload the PB file? I get stuck on downloading it and it seems the above file is obsolete (a newer version is out). Or whatever is the solution

Hi guys, I'm trying to install the game and it appears that the pbcl.dll file is outdated. On the server AND on the https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/ ... 080/pb.zip Link.

It should work now. We were having a problem with the patch server earlier.
