Return of Reckoning

After server restart, the launcher is patching but its like 1200+ files and taking unusually long.
Is this intended or annyone else experiencing this?

Yeah, I am experiencing this too. Whether it was intended or not, I am clueless. My guess is yes, it is intended. Just too bad for folk like me with a sub par d/load speed!

So on double xp weekend weve got a 1850 file patch thats literally taking hours to download? im at 12/1850..............
Enjoy the event many of us wont be done patching until its long over

It's not your subpar speed. I'm DLing with 600 mbit connection and it is slow.

We are getting something huge for this event.

It will take if not enough people are logged in at launch. They may have to extend it. Some people have isssues with slow internet downloads and miss the start of the pvp event.

Is downloading the whole game again? 1850 files to download, at 93 after about 1/2 hour.

Done after 3.5 hrs

Its not downloading the whole game, just people all updating and its a huge content patch, so keep calm and don't lose hope. It will get there eventually. Bandwidth doesn't grow on trees sadly

It finished for me.
Started downloading faster after like 20minutes.
