Public Test:
Participate in Land of the Dead's Necropolis of Zandri public test this Sunday at 8:00 PM Altdorf time, and fight for your faction in the new RvR zone.

In order to participate, head to your faction's capital city and talk to the Expedition Quartermaster 15 minutes before the expedition starts. Spots in the expedition are limited, and the ones who have collected the most Expedition Resources from RvR during the week will have the priority. Expedition Resources are only bound to your account and your realm.

Changes

- Objectives now generate 4 points per two minutes. The pyramid area flags still generate double points.

- The capture time has been increased from 40s to 45s. The extra "Securing" objective timer after capturing has been hidden.

- The objective guards and patrols have been increased in strength.

- Objectives now require 6 or more players to capture.

- Reservations are now account+realm wide, so you can swap character after getting a reservation.

Fort has been restarted and was taken then.

It would be nice, if the team would follow a clear line on this. I know that sometimes it get's postponed.

Afaik it was an automated scheduled restart with patching and no manual one like restarts after patches, when something is broken.
Destro pushed fort despite the restart warning, so it was fair game.

From a warband organizing standpoint, there were quite a few issues with this method last time.
As you turn in the resouces and get placed in a queue based on ammount, but the warband leaders dont know if their members will get in or not. So they cant build before invitations are sent out and that was last time same moment the lotd zone opened.

Comparing it to Fort stage1 where you atleast have 5minuts after reservations to form groups/warbands. 10mins to turn in, and 5mins to build or something like that would make for more enjoyable preparation phase.

Was anything changed how city queues work with the patch but went unmentioned or is it just coincidence that solo queuers and other wb's all got in before the 5min mark?

Hey,

There were already a few weird issues that Max solved (like we had no guilds, or no access to the bank vaults). So it's maybe an unwanted side effect of the last patch.

But we are aware of the new City Queue issue and we are on it.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

The LOTD section of patch note is so vague and gives players almost no info to work with. How do you know how many resources you need? Does everyone in the warband need resources or only the person queing? More information will be nice so players know what to do.

If you know how it works then please explain it clearly so there's no confusion like the past. Ty :P

you spend all of expedition resources to queue.
unused will decay anyway.
like highest bidder wins the seat, next spot goes to next highest resource until zone reaches limit.
so it's different everytime.

I spent 50 but couldn't get in last time.
400~200 were top 10 i've heard.
It's good reason to run orvr.
you can mail it to any toon in same realm/account.

There is a link to the respective wiki page but I guess you didn't check it. There's no right amount of resources needed, it's all based on how many the other players have versus how many you actually have. One time 100 resources may get you in, another time 50 may do the same. Which is why players make sure to be frequently active in the lakes when there's a public test for LotD.

The expedition resources that you gather are linked to your faction and your whole account, meaning that you could queue with a different character (this is good in case your warband needs a healer for example and you needed to swap).

Each player queues alone, there's no warband/group queue yet and there is no priority to warbands/guilds yet. There may be some features for guilds later on, it's still a discussion though.
