How are choppa atm ?

i want to make one, i find them pretty cool, can they also be good solo if you are exhausting your rage before it turn red ?

Bad !
Worst class in the game by far.
Maybe u have some fun in cities AOE spec.
SOLO.. u will be teared apart by WHs.

If solo play is what your after don’t roll choppa, they pretty much just have cheesy riposte build for solo.
As far as group play they are always taken for great aoe dmg and chop fasta, which can increase sorcs dmg tremendously and help your healers out a lot, also counteracts slayers shatter limbs.
If you really love the archetype, however, go slayer. Rampage is a ridiculously strong ability, ID is an extra aoe dot, shatter limbs... order meta right now is slayer spam.
Cholla get gttc, which is good for running players down or disrupting backlines, but it also has a bad habit of giving out free immunities. Choppa also get stab you gooder, but in cities/ competitive wb play is useless without crimson from bg and initiative debuff from mara.
I have 70 choppa, I love playing him, but tbh if I could do it all over again and didn’t have guild destro side I would have gone slayer. Only thing is I think slayer look like **** and they have almost nonexistent visual gear progression until city sets.

Yes they are horrible and terrible and you shouldn't play them and yet a primary component of every alliance destro warband ...

Great AoE class for destro, and essential CD reducer skill with a great pull. Every destro WB should have at least 3 IMO.

Fun fact
Every class is worst class in-game if you ask in forum. Best classes always on other side. Nobody would ever agree that own class is performing good because of fear people will use it as arguments against you in balance discussions

Choppa is OP with GTC, and a insane damage, and a megatactic with a lot of wounds... better than slayer by far
