Runepriest and Zealot small change idea.

Hello there,
I would like to ask the opinion of Runepriests and Zealots players. Would you find it reasonable to change abilities "Harbinger of Doom" and "Rune of Breaking" into a stance like ability, similar in working to Marauder Mutation, SW Stances or SH Squig Armor giving them a different ability bar when toggled. This would provide instant aces to Healing or DPS set of abilities in a simple manner and could provide a smother transition between toggled On and Off which can be a delayed effect at this moment.
I would love to hear your opinions on this idea?

Sure, but it's a very low priority QoL (and for me would just be a negative "QoL" since I would want my spells in same place regardless), would much rather see any of the bugs fixed.
Being that you always have access to all spells and your damage dealing spells mostly fall under the utility category (meaning you'd want to use them in both stances), that leaves only a couple non-utility lol-dps spells..
Instead they could spend the time on redoing the Swirling Vortex tactic, which doesn't work at all, literally does nothing, and even if it did, it is so bad it would never see play.
For example make it into a tactic that makes Chaotic Agitation (another spell so bad it doesn't see play) tic every 1 second instead of 2 (this along with SoR fix would make hybrid/dps Zealot a lot more viable).
OR to play into the Swirling Vortex name, make Chaotic Agitation a ranged GTDC
Or just give Storm of Ravens the 40% missing dmg (or make it cast on move again)

So Storm of Ravens is not castable on the move any more, or is it a bug now?

It was an unintentional change so was only cast on move for one patch/week

the 40% missing damage is a bug though from when they reduced number of ticks

To my understanding AE HD was removed because of dps DoK 'overperformed' and rp/zealot AE HD was removed as well. Imo dps RP/ZE being only classes with AE HD would make them special and all niche specs are welcome. Aoe HD Definetely wasnt too OP with dps rp/ze so it makes sense to bring it back to these two classes only. Fixing Storm Of Ravens Dmg ticks ofc as well. I would really love original Harbinger being an actual raven on top of target(one of the coolest looking skills in game) and transference tactic <3. 60 Seconds long and every 5 seconds doing dmg and healing you for the dmg dealt. 60 seconds is definetely overkill but 24 seconds with 4 second dmg/heal ticks wouldnt be.

You can see the nerf happen live here:
https://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum ... =8&t=35097
DoK overperformed with it's version of the tactic, people thought the Zealot/RP one was identical even though it wasn't and also the Zealot/RP had less effective delivery mechanisms, got nerfed anyway. The entire thing was a ****-show and killed off the final DPS Zealot/RP spec even though it wasn't overperforming. The counter-arguments for the nerf given later on in that thread and others were equal amounts hilarious and tragic. Curse of Khaine (DoK's heal debuff) procced on crits from DoTs as well as direct damage, and the DoK has a spammable AOE DoT and a 50ft cone DD attack on a 5s cooldown. The Zealot/RP version procced on direct damage only and does not have spammable AOE DD. It has a 5s CD - you had to pair it with other class with cooldown reduction to even get a spammable AOE on a class which is supposed to have an AOE tree.
About as transparent as the Wind of Insanity nerf which was just supposed to make it so it was cancelled if affected by a pure interrupt (Taunt etc), but instead was changed from a toggle to a channel and gutted the skill completely.
As for the OP's suggestion: the built-in stance bars are for classes where the stances restrict what abilities can be used. This does not apply to the Zealot and RP who can use all their abilities regardless of Harbinger mode, albeit at much reduced effectiveness. In the past I have setup a macro for manually switching between two bars. Assuming you want to swap hotbar 1 between pages 1 and 5, then on page 1 add a macro with:
/script SetHotbarPage (1, 5)
and on page 5 add a macro with:
/script SetHotbarPage (1, 1)
Put them in the same slot and the same key will toggle back and forth between the abilities if you find that easier to manage. It's independent of the Harbinger mode though.
