Return of Reckoning

Based on a comment by MrGrey1 on the RoR Discord, I want to raise the following issue so that it doesn't get lost in the ever flowing stream of new Discord messages:

Back before the currency unification patch, T4 RvR loot bags would contain certain blue and purple items (weapons, armor pieces, and jewelry) that now seem to have vanished.

These items were (among others):
- blue items with the 'Ardent' prefix (e.g. Ardent Girdment)
- blue items with the 'Globinspillet' prefix (e.g. Globinspillet Mallet)
- purple items with the 'of Quelled Adversaries' suffix (e.g. Waraxe of Quelled Adversaries)
- purple items with the 'of Grievous Ardor' suffix (e.g. Bitter Cloak of Grievous Ardor)

Was the removal of these items an intentional step, and if so: why?
If however those items disappeared due to a mistake/bug, I would like to ask the team to consider bringing them back, as they were a nice addition to the standard RvR items and some of them also had nice stats for that level and/or interesting appearances.

Huh, I have no memory of these items. You sure they were in T4 and not T3?

Yes, they could be found in T4 RvR loot bags (this is also listed in the 'rewarded from' section in the armory), but I don't know the exact mechanism, that controlled when they were included. In my experience, you got them on characters that got loot bags from T4 RvR and were below career rank 40. I remember using the Ardent Kladgird on my IB for quite a while due to the +2% block chance.

There were useful items for t2 & t3 as well, (and t1?) Is a shame to just lose them all. I understand why the set gear was removed from bags but I don't get the justification for removing the other choices.

So, as this apparently does not only affect T4 but loot bags from all tiers: is this an intentional change or a bug? It would really be sad to see all of these extra items disappear

There are no t4 lootbags, as the loot in bags depended on your own rank/rr, not the tier. There were several useful items in rvr bags, when you was below r40/rr40. Now they got removed. When gold bags don't give enough crests to buy a piece, then it's imo a net loss, if no other items are in those bags, especially for lower rank players.

Good to know. I had thought they were tied to the tier of the locked zone as well.

Completely agree. You say that 'they got removed', so it was an intentional decision? I did not find anything in the patch notes about that, so I thought it might just be a bug.

I would assume it was intentional, when there are no set pieces in rvr bags either.

What is the official stance of the team on this issue? Were all those extra items intentionally removed together with the set pieces? And if so, is there a chance that we can get the extra non-set items back?
