Is spam inviting to guild a non-bannable thing now?

Seen a ton of invites going out to couple friends of mine who has alts in T1 and the like, it seems to me people have forgotten that spam inviting to a guild is bannable.
Or have the rules about this changed in the 2 years I've been absent?
I'd like to hear what the status of this behaviour will result in nowadays or if no action is taken at all?

If your friends are facing issues, then they should reach out to the GMs by themselves and get a proper advise directly.

But you are saying it is still bannable per say then? Because spam inviting randoms continously without asking them first would be considered as a form of harassment, right?
I had a friend who isn't playing anymore who used to spam invite back in the day too but when he was warned by an ingame GM; he respected what he said and stopped doing it.

Your friend should whisper the person who's spamming him first, and if they keep on excessively spamming then they should reach out to a GM. The latter will always look into each report on a case-by-case basis in order to objectively take a decision.
Any annoying behavior directed towards other players could trigger a GM intervention if it's well supported with evidence. It's more of an annoyance rather than harassment really, let's not use that word every time... Nobody gets harassed by receiving multiple guild invites, it's not that personal.

Well it was enough to warrant a proper warning from the GM at the time when it happened (so apparently both the player and GM viewed it as such?)
I've had my inquiry answered in any case, thank you for the response.
I'll let my friends know.
