Return of Reckoning

Hi folks. so I'm new to Return of Reckoning, but did play the original game for a couple of years. I'm not able to add a 2nd Talisman to my weapon at the moment, and I can't remember if there are restrictions in play so I don't know if it's an issue with the game or if I'm lacking some info on how they work. I've tried a varfiety of different talismans, all low (lowest?) level and no joy. Any help? Thanks.

Can't be 2 of the same stat. Has to be a talisman at or below the Minimum Rank of the item (not item level).
