I don't know if OP's muted character is a Chaos toon or not, nor do I know if they were of the Slaaneshi flavor. I do however have an example of someone who DID do a Slaanesh rp character who got unjustly punished for it: Typikalgit. A chat automod that nobody wanted/asked for, punishing a player for a "joke" (as lame as it was) that nobody was/should be offended by, especially if they are familiar with the Warhammer Fantasy Battles setting is absurd.

Ι have been muted for less and accepted it with grace. :| is no joke.
This can be considered an adult game ( extreme themes et al ) but really some decorum should always be in place.

If you've been muted by the new chat filter system, it's more optimized now and I hope you won't face any inconvenience anymore.

The original game itself is rated 13+ so moderation is done accordingly.

This is a non-issue. There are topics to keep out of public chat. Have all the fun you want in your private chat, party, guild, whatever. As soon as the general public is exposed to it, there are limits and consequences to what you put out there. Why I need to posit that casually joking about :| is unacceptable is what really boggles the mind. Some people just have no accounting for common decency, and that's precisely why GM's exist.

1.6 Keep your use of language clean and family-friendly.
Take the rule above, and apply it to anything you might type into a public channel. Additionally take that rule and apply it to private messages that you might send to someone who might report you for violation of this rule. Abuse and harassment of players is a fast way to draw GM attention, and it takes two clicks to report chat with enough evidence that they will take action on it. If you find that you end up muted, it's time to self-review your behavior and change it. All GM actions are logged, and all sanctions escalate over time. They never fall off.

Being a fan of the Warhammer IPs does not automatically make one also a fan of a company as contemptable as Games Workshop

, no one sane would advocate anything on behalf of the toy company from hell.
