Very objectivelly, to start with, the biggest mistake this game has was forcing lvl 16 ppl to fight against RR 70's on a supposed balanced bolster. Its an illusion. They really should'v let T2 and T3's. The game forces you to play against people in an unbalanced manner.

OK, you still can do scenarios... Idk what this game has but somehow it seems to attract ppl who have not a clue about basic rules of triad MMO's, you see horrific things in Scenarios like DPS attacking tank instead of going after casters/DPS, people not fighting on objectives, pursuing only damage meters, healers not healing, etc. It makes doing scenarios look like a complete waste of time.

Stuff might work, eventually, in the endgame. OF COURSE, ONLY AFTER RR 55 otherwise you'll be candy to 70% of the playerbase, because of the unbalance level of the gear sets and the amount of veteran players currently playing it.

SOLO PLAY IS IMPOSSIBLE, unless you consider fun to have 1 fair fight for every 49 fights where you'll either get outnumbered or added before it ends. You can play WE/WH and choose your fights... After a few weeks you'll realize what choice is this: is something in between of choosing NO FIGHT VS risking 1vX (if ur tired of just running around doing nothing). Even the stealth players sold their souls and started to gank together. There is NO SPACE for soloers here, trust me!

I wont mention the OP god like classes.. nor the useless ones. Great job with the balance, wargrimmr.


People who say i'm lieing about those stuff are the ones who doesnt consider a waste of time/effort having a 1:50 'fair-fight-ratio' or having to leech warbands for months until get yourself a decent RR level before stuff start to work on your favor.

Well, there are all kinds of people, specially the ones who pay no value to their real life time. Those will think this game balanced and amazingly worthy.

To make it more like a review and less like a rant you should refrain from name-calling people and go more into detail what you didn't like and furthermore describe your current experience with the classes you played and how you played the game.

I can see where this is going.

90% of your post can be summarised into finding a group to play with, MMOs are better with friends and guilds are the perfect opportunity to make some.

Fair fights in an open world RvR MMORPG is a myth. You’ll always have a bigger group on one side, or a more coordinated one. See joining a guild above.

Not to belittle your points because they are valid - but there’s also a very easy solution to minimise the impact which promotes healthy gameplay.

Twink guilds farming T1-T3 scens isnt promoting good play. Most new players coming in need time to make friends and if they are farmed by guilds only set up to do this they will leave.

Twink guilds farming t1-t3 scenes are nothing new... Not for RoR or any other mmorpg. I remember devs implemented more premade vs premade sc's and it resulted with no sc's poppin. People raged about it too. I see healers aint healing words too often. You know they have dps spec too so you arent entitled to get heals when they are dps spec. Want heals? get yourself a pockethealer.

Although I agree the new player experience could be honed a bit more, there’s really a limit to what we can achieve without really segregating a huge part of the game.

The .pug command is there to stop players going into premades as a last resort should they wish to not find players to play with.

The T2/T3 population number isn’t at a point where we could sustain splitting the queues - it would just cause a huge delay in finding matches and subsequently split players from their friends they want to group with - which is the priority here.

RoR is a very social PvP game, we will always suggest forming groups to fight groups if you don’t want to use the .pug scenario.

We have solutions to these issues it just depends on how people want to use the ones available to them - or not use them in this instance.

Most of the supposed "twink guild premades" are just random people in /5 asking to form a group. maybe 2-3 are in a guild together, the rest are just randoms that answer when someone says they need players.

you can do that, too. its actually quite fun if you've got a space of time to do it, say an hour or so.

Very bad and inaccurate review.
Ive been 99.7% solo on all of my chars, got 4 over 80rr and mby 6 70+(no healer classes)
Just recently made a new alt and so far had no trouble at all doin orvr or scenarios.
34/46 atm whit it.
Yes Wh give trouble but thats what they supposed to do.
Game gotten better whit recent warcrests change and weekly rvr.
So yea, you can solo easyly so i guess its a l2p issue whit you
And in no way im elite or play everyday allday

I like how you end your high quality post saying basically "everyone who is not with me has no live and no plan".

Group play on mid-tier is not for on side, and in fact you will find premades on both sides, so at the end it again comes down to the question what side did it better.

To minimize frustration the only thing you can do is: Heal, Guard, Assist, no matter what your class or spec is you have a specific Job in a figh. Do your job.

If 12 randoms to their job against 2 premades, you at least give them a fight or get some kills.
