Return of Reckoning

When I logged in today I found 2 of my characters Goretrek lvl 35 and Graegor lvl 4 would not log in saying they had duplicate names and trying to make me change name?
They also had weird numbers after their names, anyone come across this before and know how to fix?

I believe this has to do with the new name reservation system. After a year or more (I think) of inactivity, names now become open for others to use.
Basically, you have to stay reasonably active to keep a particular name you like.

Oooff, yeah it has been a while since I have been able to login, finally found my password book today which had been put in a "safe place".

No worries, and sorry about the loss of your names, even though I think its a change for the better with people sitting on names they haven't played in years.
