- 3sc KD with 10sc CD
- punt with 10sc CD
- buff 10% cc on ally (that should stack with Dirty Trick)
- buff 25% parry on ally
- cleanse on all snares for you and an ally
- 50% outgoing debuff heal
- debuff that reduce cc
- debuff armor

the 5secs kd u have to be 2h for lmao 2h in wbs die almost as fast as a melee,a sm will x2 ur dmg and brings more utilities.

I think you misunderstand the spell Cave In (3sc KD + 5sc dot, 20sc CD) and forgot that the IB has another KD Shield of Reprisal (3sc KD on parry or block, 10sc CD).

Also, IB has the best AP pump in the game and an undefendable AoE snare. Not sure we can call it the worst tank.

It was hard enough before to deal with juggling those 10 second buffs. The 1.5 gcd just made managing those worse, outside of that it’s not much different. Hopefully it will get some love in the future, rising anger should be baseline not a tactic, buffs made to 15 seconds or more, tri spec reworked.

IB is great - the 10sec punt just feels like bullying on some SCs if you know how to properly utilize its limited range as you can basically just go wherever you want if you have a shield. the 2nd 20 sec jug really helps with this. the ap feed is an amazing tool too. just be prepared to put a ton of time into learning it - easily the hardest class i've played

ib is an amazing tank in 6 mans AND wbs their buffs/utility are beyond strong

IB is an average tank at best, but niche.

Good to guard mdps and provide Oathbound. Armor buff is nice, and overwrites an armor pot, but provides only about 1-2% more mitigation. The toughness buff is overwritten by Knights.

The ap feed is being nerfed. So, Knights ap feed will be better for grps.

Punt is only good 2H spec. If your s/b spec to be the best buffer, you str is low and your chance to punt is crap. Anecdotally , you will punt about 10% of the time vrs other tanks. That is crap.

2H'er, you loose Oathbound unless you run 6 Sov/3 Tri. Maybe 5% of IBs can run those sets? If you do, your self parry goes down from gear.

The major problem of IB is that is a bad tank in that it can't buff and dps worth a damn in a 10s interval. If you want to keep Oathbound up for the 25% parry, you need to mask it with Stubborn as Stone. Same goes for Runic shield.

The reality of the situation, you can be either a good buffer with s/b or decent dps with 2H. You can't do both worth a damn, and that is where its very bad tank.

The BG is far far superior. It can debuff and dps at the same time. The IB can't.

If you want to run 2H spec, go Knight after the patch.
