Return of Reckoning

So, I just recently started this game again since my latest PC death. I was getting familiar with my abilities, when I tried the Firewyrm morale ability in the inevitable city against NPC enemies, It used to spawn one, but this time it transformed me into one. Nothing seemed to change other than my player model was a giant death bird. What does this actually do, or what is it supposed to do? I've looked for other posts about it, but I can't seem to find any information. Thanks!

From what i remember it was disabled for some reason something to do with the spawns being bugged out.
