LOTD balance anyone?

..Not hard to see who is going to perform better in zergy situations, right? In the end it IS a balance problem because no matter what, people gonna keep rolling these SWs and Engis and we have to deal with it.

Players making bad choices is no balance problem. Different classes with different tools are not equal in every environment. rdps are attractive for players, who play solo, who have no heals or tanks, because they are less vulnerable than mdps. This is why engi/sw are picked instead of bw or mdps. When you play like a solo player and join group content, it is on you.
There is more than zerg wb vs wb in this game, in other content rdps have easier time to score kills.

And then there are classes like WEs that are good in every situation.

It IS a balance problem. You are wrong.

SW and Engi do fine in SC and City if you are capable of using your noggin. They both had excellent M2’s that got removed a long time ago that made them viable as the main DPS in a WB but hasn’t been that way in a long time. Something doesn’t have to be the best at something to be viable; most WB are happy to bring an engi along for a good magnet.

If you know what you’re doing and can play a class well you can and will be invited to all of the types of content this game offers - issue is most people don’t meet that criteria on RDPS.

you-all dominates on all levels in RvR** in the T3-4**but if the destro's claim it for themselves, and or take it.. NO that doesn't work at all..
As a colleague said in another post..you have to.play better together like in RvR..or accept the result. LotD belongs to destruction..let's at least have this success

Playing solo doesn't mean you are alone, you can stick to warbands and pick your targets and use your distance to reduce the need for a healer.
They do fine in SC.
When your pug team lacks healer, tanks and a front line, then rdps struggle but melee will struggle even more.
Too many rdps is not good for content like city siege with narrow spaces and objectives, where you can't just kite away. See last city instance, where you find all of them.

Sure, you can play a SW/Engi and have fun, but the power level of geared and well played SW/Engi is A LOT lower than that of geared and well played BW.

Having even power levels is called balance. Since it is not even, it is not balanced. Period.
