Crash upon attacking enemy

I am truly sorry if this has been posted about but there's a lot of pages and I have ADD lol. Just in the beginning of Dark Elves area when you kill Sprites and Spearmen for the first two quests I crash as soon as I fight a Spearman. I could kill the Sprites easily no crash but as soon as Spearman got near me, BOOM, crash. I've tested this several times and it's only with humanoids in the beginning so far. My PC is a beast with plenty of GPU and Virtual memory to the point I can run raytracing on new games at High, maybe not Max as I don't have a 3080 but a 2080ti and I have enough RAM memory to be a GD server lol.
Do I just need to move files elsewhere? Atm they're in independent folder on D-top but that shouldn't be messing with it given it only crashes up being attacked by humans not a monster in the beginning. TY anyone for the time you can give and sorry if I missed the forums that showed this kind of fix.
