Forced to download over 170000 files after playing once

So i just downloaded RoR a few days ago and after launching it the first time it worked fine. On trying to launch it a second time it locks me out of launching the game and starts a huge download of over 170k files. I've had this issue with RoR before but this is the first time I'm trying to actually address it. Does anyone else have this issue? Any fixes? If I have to download all those files then I would rather just uninstall. It ain't worth it.

Did you un-check 'Read Only' under folder properties? Just installed and was forced to download the 170k file, stopped it, read the install guide, unchecked the read-only, re-ran RoRLauncher and it loads fine

Yeah I looked and 'Read Only' is unchecked. Still have the 170k file.. really annoying

Try redownloading the entire full game from the torrent and patching from that. Move the User/Interface folders over from your old install.

That should resolve the issue.
