Return of Reckoning

Im new here and I don't know that much about the lore so this might sound dumb, but is there a lore reason that Tech Priests are not playable? Or it just happened to not become playable? I made a Magus and a Bright Wizard and I really dig their class fantasy, but it would be cool to abandon my flesh and worship the Machine Spirit.

Dude, I think you got confused between Warhammer Fantasy (this game) and Warhammer 40k

Imagine mowing down an enemy warband wielding medieval metal weapons while you are playing your mighty Space Marine with a Bolter

And then mounting up and ride in your Landspeeder into the sunset

Is Warhammer Fantasy eons of time apart from 40K, or is it a different world?

Edit: Ok I Googled it it's separate... Are the orcs still a type of fungi here?

Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k are basically two separate universes.

AFAIK there is no definite crossover and just some hints / cross references.

Both are made by the same people but target different settings (medieval vs high tech space).

PS: This is a very short summary and I am not too deep into the lore of both

Orcs are still fungi.
There have been rumors that the Warhammer Fantasy World might be a far far far far away world within the Warhammer 40k Universe. But nothing like this was ever confirmed.

The universes are different but in some aspects (chaos gods f.e.) the same.

The update we need to save the game right here.
