Return of Reckoning

Would recommend Mara, cant go wrong with it, its both good in ST and AoE and one of it not the tankiest MeleeDPS with some interesting toolkit. Cons is the mechanic takes some time to get practice on proper StanceDance.

SquigHerder is all fun to play but its very risky gameplay, while pewpewing from range seems nice, once u get jumped by any melee u gonna be in big trouble. You do have tools to kite and controling a range pet can give advantage (but also can be buggy). MeleeSH has interesting tools like Pounce, CD increaser and Mini AoE Punt that doesnt give immunities but is behind in DPS performance to in comparisson to Mara/Choppa DMG wise.

dun waste time and effort on mara.

squigherder in skirm spec is a sleeper class with giant skill ceiling and carry potential in SCs. in orvr it can fall off a little unless you have a group to support you going aoe melee, in which case it's a good piece with unique tools but still basically worse than choppa

mara is an S tier pug dps due to being so damn reliable, hardy and having all tools but will always be second seat to choppa at the tippy tops of org, so depends what u wanna do

Can recommend mara, very versatile.
Aoe spec is easy.
ST requires a little more effort.

for destro choppa/msh can aoe better
for st witch is best
tanky dps is a joke might as well just stick with borc or roll a bg.

did you really type MSH can do better aoe than Mara

Imagine recommending MSH with a straight face.
Mara is the most newb friendly class in this game, if you can get past the sometimes clunkyness of the stance switches you'll do alright.
The aoe while just fluffing has some utilities and can easily find spots in warbands.
The st tree is pretty strong with some nice hard hitting abilities and the best armor debuff on destro.

Any thread about mara there's always someone hating on them.. why?

Hardest mdps class to master because of stance swapping (in ST spec).
There are not many good mara players left.
