Highlights
Weekend Warfront: Battle at the Gate
The Phoenix Gate guards the entrance to the inner lands of Ulthuan; soft rolling landscapes where in more peaceful ages the Ellyrion Horselords bred Elven Steeds. Now the plains are filled with signs of war – siege engines and corpses litter the landscape as Order and Destruction forces vie for control of the Phoenix Gate and all that lies beyond.
This weekend Battle at the Gate will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Phoenix Gate scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks.
Realm versus Realm
City Siege
- Increased time between cities slightly so it should be on a different schedule each week again.

New Player Quests
The New Questline "Gems with Benefits" has been added between the Chapter 1 to Chapter 2 camps for all six races.
This new short quest will provide two free +7 Talismans to new characters, and will guide them on how to slot Talismans into their gear. Additionally, we've created special Talismans to be given for this quest, which contain a description to remind or teach new players how to use Talismans later, in case they skip the quest text.
Bug Fixes
- [20442] Fixed Engineer Ruin Shoulders showing twice with different prices at the vendor.
- [20416] This quest now properly grants completion when blowing up cannons. Additionally, the Quest giver now has new In-progress and completion text added.
- [20455] IB/Slayer: The Titan's Axe will now be used to purchase the Titan's Orcsplitter of Reverence, and the Sentry's Trollsmasher of Glory will now be used for the Sentry's Hammer of Reverence. (Previously, the axe would upgrade into Hammer, and Hammer into an Axe.) This change will not impact players who already own the upgraded versions of these weapons.
- [20134] Fixed keep lords to use one or the original keep lord abilities and not a weird blue lion VFX.
- [20322] Sequencer shouldn't get stuck on abilities on cooldown anymore
- [20438] Fixed AP values on Shoika Dolgan Cheeses

Re: Patch Notes 01/10/2022
Thanks for the updates, it's really great in world tutorials are getting added
It's probably been thought of already, but would be nice to see a quest introduction for professions as well, with recommendations by class/archetypes/playstyle (pve/pvp)

How many time is increased between city sieges? Why u increase the time between cities instead of decrease it? Decreasing will change the days on the week too and help to players to play more city sieges.

Re: Patch Notes 01/10/2022
Cities are 2020s. Many ppl see it as waste of time. If they are still scheduled they should be weekend events, no some random days in a week, same like lotd.
Re: Patch Notes 01/10/2022
Many players can't play during weekends (Family, kids, events, work, etc) so it's important that there are sieges from Monday to Friday so we all have opportunities to play. In fact, there should be a siege day in morning time, maybe at 11:00 to facilitate access to this content for everyone, not make it even more difficult increasing the timers between city sieges.
It is very hard to play city regular for casual players.

Glad to hear it! We hope the new Talisman quest will be really helpful for new players, and for vets making new chars, you get a couple free Talis that can slot into any early gear too.BluIzLucky wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 2:31 pm Thanks for the updates, it's really great in world tutorials are getting added

I like the idea of something to introduce the Crafting Professions... will look into it a bit and see what possibilities may be!

About crafting it could be good to implement a mini-quest for each crafting and collecting skill, like killing X mobs and retrieve the crafting components, then craft a simple talisman or potion (the NPC should give you basic needed components - since crafting need two different skills -, and should explain what other skills are needed to do that, like Cultivator/Butcher + Apothecary, and Scavenger/Salvager + Talisman maker).
Some tutorial panels could also explain the basic ways of crafting stuff, with an access to them in the ingame help section ; wiki is already good and asking other for tips will still be needed (to know the effects of multipliers, stabilizers and other specific stuff), but a simple description of the two crafting interfaces will be very helpful for players.
Also, you can consider adding distinctive icons over crafting teachers all around ; seeing only "Apothecary" or "Edge Wizard" may be not enough to easily understand thos NPCs are actually able to teach you a crafting skill.
Finally, adding CraftInfoTooltip addon to the base game, as you did with SoR, will be of great help to any player around ; just knowing what is growing from a violetseal seed you dropped from gunbad, or a powder while butchering mobs is already a great help to understand your crafting skills
