Hello,

Myself and 4 of my buddies are coming back to the game. We played way back when the game first came out and just saw this server. We have been reading and trying to see what's, what nowadays but just thought Id ask here lol. What would be an ideal group for Pve and PVP with a group of 5 on the order side ??

Thanks for the tip.

setup A:

IB RP Slayer
Kotbs BW WP

-
-

Setup B:

SM WL AM
Kotbs SW WP

-
-

Setup C:

WH BW WP
SM Engie AM

-
In group of five drop one dps.
-

Those would be easiest in terms of synergy but setup C requires good positioning and coordination. Good hunting!

Thank you very much for that info, I might as well ask what about Destruction just incase they want to go that way.

You can't go wrong with 2 tanks, 2 dps, 2 healers.

Hello the ideal strongest group is 2 tanks 2 dps and 2 healers.

With 5 people you will be short either a tank, a dps, or a healer.

If you only have 1 tank make it a knight or Chosen. Resist aura is pretty big especially early game where range casters are dominant.

Warrior Priest/DoK is probably the best solo healer if only 1 heal in a 2/2/1 starting around mid 20's.

DPS: Play what you like, but, Slayer/WL/BW and Choppa/Mara/Sorc are the stacked meta warband dps classes. Other dps are fine for small scale but generally not in demand.

Low level balance is quite a bit different than high level balance.

Wow, what fast replies thanks a lot for sure.. Posting this info in our Discord group now :)

" Low level balance is quite a bit different than high level balance."

So reading that if we go with one of the groups above at High levels are we still going to be okay ??

For pve you want an ap disher

Magus/engi (these classes are solid for pvp atm)
Wp/dok (they are also fast group heal disher)

These classes are also good for pvp

You then want some tank thay can hold their soak dmg job in pve/rvr and can punt.

Ch/bg/ kobs since ib is not in the greatest spot for rvr utiliy
You still want ch/kobs for auras.

As secon healer runy and zeal to boost heal increase.

So likely
Ch+magus+dok+zeal
Kobs+engi+wp+runy

You can adapt these 4 for you need.

Last spot should likely be a melee dd. You can try to leave the rdd with no guard or swap in case when roaming and get a second tank for dungeons.
Considering you should bring magus engi for pve..you could also consider a more oriented st melee such wl over skayer but not wh since it lack aoe and in dungeon you gona be a bit slow.
Also for a 5 men the hit and run nature of wl could be nice on destru side either squit or mara to fill the same role altought choppa have a controlcl edge over slayer danlmage.

On Order I would try this party for roaming:
Knight
Wl
Bw (single target)
Rp
AM or WP.

Really depends what your doing. But for a general rule of thumb. You want a WP/RP/KOTBS together as they really add to each others strengths. DPS I'd go with the best order has, Slayer, White Lion or Bright Wizard(only slayer if you play as a group most of the time, slayer alone without support is miserable). The last remaining tank, you could go for a Sword Master but with a SM you want an Arch Mage. So I'd go with Iron Breaker as they're the best main tank and should guard the squishier DPS.

This assumes you go as a 2/2/2.
