Return of Reckoning

As loaded a topic as it was, there was some pretty great discussion in the recent thread about realm bias. Shame to see that all swept under the rug

People on the forums sure seem to spend a lot of time creating their own imagined problems for common situations that don't need such a tinfoil treatment. When threads run their course and they've devolved to low-grade insults, they get retired so people stop yelling at clouds hoping that core components of the game change so they can feel a little bit better about dying in PvP. The killboard thread is on the same path.

We could just as easily have a bullet list of why things are unfair. When it's by design, that's intended to drive up anxiety and build animosity. These might not be "feel good" emotions, but they're not supposed to be. The game is conflict by nature, and not every interaction and system is going to hold onto soft hands and gently rub their back when they feel icky. Some systems are designed to push you and others into smashing your heads together. Naturally this causes some of the less critically engaged players to taking their conflict to the forums to petition for more gentle caring changes.

It does make for good team Q&A material at least and certainly isn't deleted.

not much of an argument left for leaving rampage the way it is

the rock paper scissors argument isn't good enough unless you also give a destro class a proper aoe counter

Well RoR Devs did try to nerf that skill once back in the days (2016-2017) somewhere I belive and it completly broke RoR so they changed it back after a week or so. maybe u werent there then. But its on order only for a reason, RoR Devs seems to think so, Mythic did aswell creating it. Unless u mirror all classes there is no ez solution, and I hope that day never comes.

Rampage did not ignore Guard mechanic In Aor Or bypass Morale Avoidances, and aoe cap was 9. So there was no reason to change rampage Live because it wasnt insanely OP it was just very good skill. But bypassing Morale Avoidances and Guard Mechanic it becomes a problem. Only skill's that bypassed Morale avoidance's that i remember were Engi/Magus Stagger WH/WE Self punt stagger SH/SW Whirling/Sticky and all those skills do NO dmg except maybe engi/magus stagger. Nothing Bypassed Guard Mechanic though, if attack was undefendable they were single target and worked like any other skill when it comes to guard dmg and parry/blocking that dmg.

Undefendable meens exactly that

not asking to nerf anything but still cant see why choppa/dest cant have rampage, even a toned down version.

I say its better to give Choppa an ID similar skill instead.
