Hotbars reset on every login

Recently I reinstalled return of reckoning.

I set my user interface to stack 3 hotbars, and when i relog or even do /rel it resets it back to 1 hotbar?

Every single time I log on i need to redo this...

I'm a player who's played this game many years without issue, yet for some reason now I get this?

Any suggestions to fix this?

Solutions I tried:
- Start game as administrator
- Remove read-only from folder

i had similar problem on a new character i made like a week ago. one part of UI was constantly resetting to its' old position. after few days and dozen times of making it as i want->restart game, it finally stuck.

Make sure all your files into "user" folder are not read-only. This kind of issue often appear because the user xml files are read-only.

Also make sure you properly close the game (no Alt+F4) to avoid settings sometimes not saving correctly.

Furthermore, be sure to not install/launch your game from c:/Program Files, move installation folder to another drive, preferably placing the RoR folder into drive root (i.e. D:/RoR or something).
This will prevent A LOT of issues.

Either a) broken add on you should not use or b) broken profile UI.

Try play a clear char. If problem persist delete (temp move for test away) profile folder, last resort or luck first try use repair function

Make sure "run as admin" when starting RoR.

Disable shared Profiles. fixed the problem for me.

First of all, thank you for all your answers.

What worked for me is that I went to the Warhammer/user folder and deleted all the profiles there. Once back in the game I tested simply changing the hotbars, and after a re-log it stuck.

In case anyone else runs into this.
