Return of Reckoning

Hey ! i'm a returning player, previously i was playing ranged, but now i want to try some melee dps, i really like the look of choppa and mara and was wondering, which of them is better ? i mean, can you give me the pro and con of each pls ? thx

Choppa is burstier in aoe but is glass with Ap issues, Mara has more consistent dmg and is tankier, both are great in st and utility

Mara is easier to play, choppa will eventually deal more damage. Both are very much utility picks as damage dealers, choppa for cf and mara for AoE kd. Mara had very different ST and AoE playstyles, for choppa the difference is smaller due to not having stances. Both are tricky to play solo.

Go both nothing wrong with that!
Choppa is light-armored, risk/reward class focused on rage management. Good damage, low survivability
Marauder is medium-armor, stance-dancing class with lots of tools for the right ocasions. Ok damage, good survivability.

Choppa much better D

Choppa is all about pure aggression. If you love the idea of going full ham, swinging your weapons like a madman, and throwing yourself into the thick of battle, Choppa is your guy.

Marauder is top notch. Choppa is in a bad state compared to mara. While having more damage overall, Marauder does not self debuff himself. A good playing marauder that knows his job (aka not spamming one button) is a serious threat to enemy team. Touch of insanity, touch of rot and Deadly clutch are the nightmare of enemy healers /melee dps.
Choppa has no such tools. He simply uses damage skills hoping his enemy dies before him.
