Return of Reckoning

Hello everyone!

I've been away for some times and recently I had this nostalgia urge to come back and enjoy this great game. However some of my characters name got some numerals at the end and turned out someone took my names. Now Im kinda silly with character naming: I took some work to find a - for me - perfect RP name each of my characters. So I certainly wont rename my main dwarf healer or my archmage who has my go-to mage name, but with it I cant play it eatiher .
Is there any way to get my charaters names back? Why is it even possible to take an already taken name?

If you don´t log in a character for 1 year it´s name can be taken.

When you log in you'll be prompted to choose a new name. Try choosing the name you used to have, it's likely still available.

Well, finding dwarf and elf names isn't too difficult fortunately.

There are some pretty good name generators for Warhammer out there, due to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay being a thing.

Edit: You could also try to speak to the person who has your name now. Maybe they are willing to change their name, since name changes can easily be done in RoR.

Same thing happened to me, my marauder had the perfect name "Armsdealer" it was taken by a dwarf engineer...
